Matata Nursing Hospital(MNH) has two satellite centers: RAPCOM-Awendo Migori County (now self-sustaining) and Awach Kibuon IHL-Central Karachuonyo North Homa Bay County under development. MNH also has developed multiple community Health Centers which are run by the communities and the Homa Bay County government. MNH conducts mobile clinics in hard to reach areas to enable accessibility of quality MCH/FP and preventive health services by the vulnerable communities and has also created mobile clinics in hard to reach areas.

The hospital equally targets other associated/friendly Medical Centres as: Nyarongi in Ndhiwa and Santa Jane in Nyakach Sub-County -Kisumu County for capacity building enhancement for improved general preventive health and Cancer screening services.

    Matata Nursing Hospital provides access to comprehensive and integrated quality health care to improve individual and community health in Homa Bay and other Nyanza Counties.

    Additionally, Matata Nursing Hospital has programs focused on community development through the MNH’s Community Social Responsibility such as renovation of schools, safe clean supply development and sustainable conservation agriculture. These activities are provided to mainly improve the wellness and wellbeing of the communities it serves.

    Matata Nursing Hospital focuses on providing our patients monitored safe, quality healthcare in a patient-friendly environment, which speeds up the recovery process.

    MNH is located in Oyugis town; a subcounty of Homa Bay County. It has satellite branches in Awendo and Lwala Kibuon (still under construction).

    Currently NO. But we are still working on streamlining appointment booking process to enhance efficiency in accessing our services.
